Advanced Electrical Engineer - First Responder Communications

Job Description

As a Product Development Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be part of a talented team responsible for inventing, developing, and maintaining hardware and software solutions for first responders around the world. If you have a passion for life-saving public safety, web technology, or embedded systems, this role is for you!

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of innovative solutions that enhance the safety and effectiveness of first responders, ensuring they have the tools they need to perform their critical jobs effectively.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Join a team responsible for end-to-end product development for first responders.
• Handle all hardware-related development and minor software development for various products.
• Act as an individual contributor, collaborating with teams and customers to gather feedback.
• Participate in the entire product development life cycle : from idea inception and architecture drafting to design, testing, deployment, and customer feedback.
