Program Manager-Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Salary range is $78K to $170K with a midpoint of $118K. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint however we may go slightly higher based on experience internal equity and market.

GENERAL PURPOSE :

Reporting to the Deputy Director Diversity Equity & Inclusion and under general direction the DEI Program Manager is equal parts strategist and executor. Able to seamlessly flow between innovating and developing strategy to ensuring successful implementation of department initiatives. The DEI Program Manager will be responsible for the development management and implementation of programs & initiatives that support the implementation of Sound Transits Anti-Racism Strategy and will provide consultative support to project teams and agencywide initiatives. Successful candidates will have substantial experience leading and collaborating across teams in order to operationalize equity within complex organizational structures. They hold equity and anti-racism as core personal and professional values as well as the lens through which they view this work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education and Experience : Bachelors degree in Ethnic or Women Studies Sociology Organizational Development or closely related field; Five years of experience in designing managing and implementing diversity equity & inclusion programs and initiatives preferably in a non-profit public sector or service environment; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
