We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of  Chemist  within our Oxy Low Carbon Ventures Technology Organization based in  Houston, TX .

The  Chemist  will be accountable for developing and improving chemical processes to support OLCV activities under the direction of the Technology Development Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Utilize high-performance computing to create detailed simulations of and screen products from physicochemical processes.
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies for product development.
• Provide data reduction, DFT simulations, multivariate data analysis, ML modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Process and analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods to refine simulations.
• Develop and apply specialized software tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization.
• Collaborate with computer scientists to enhance software capabilities.
• Collaborate with experimentalists to validate and guide computational simulations
• Interpret statistical results to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Communicate findings to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Modeling and visualizing reaction pathways and exploring fundamental processes.
• Create computer models of chemical reactions to understand kinetics and thermodynamics.
