Mental Health Therapist - Outpatient, PT

Responsibilities : RESPONSIBLE FOR :

Provide Psychiatric and / or Chemical Dependency

counseling services to the patients admitted to Piedmont Medic for

Behavioral Health inpatient units.

Qualifications : MINIMUM EDUCATION

REQUIRED :

Master's degree required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Minimum of 2 years

experience in a clinical setting, either inpatient or outpatient /

partial hospital setting addressing both psychiatric and chemical

dependency issues with clients.

A minimum of two years of supervised

experience in psychiatric setting or addictive disease treatment

setting, or minimum of three years of continuous active recovery in

twelve step program.

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY

LAW :

Good working knowledge of

community resources for psychiatry, psychotherapy, and mutual

support groups in local and surrounding area.
