JOB DESCRIPTION

The Chief Engineer, Performance Optimization reports to the SVP – Engineering Solutions. The individual will be a SME and a mentor to the Performance Engineering team members to deliver best in class performance modeling and advanced data analysis on utility scale PV and BESS Systems. Role will provide process, tools, and training to enable the team to deliver services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentor and SME for the Performance Engineering team members, ensuring consistent service delivery and a high-quality customer experience.
• Oversee timely and accurate reporting in alignment with contractual obligations.
• Manage and monitor contractual performance guarantees, including energy performance, availability, and DC health.
• Analyze plant performance against modeled expectations and identify key variances.
• Develop actionable recommendations to optimize the performance of PV and BESS power plants.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through expert analysis, clear communication, and proactive support.
• Continuously improve analytical methods, tools, and content to enhance customer value and operational efficiency.
• Support sales and business development by contributing to performance guarantee negotiations and service agreement scopes.
• Lead the onboarding process for new contracts to ensure seamless service delivery from project commencement.
• Travel requirement : approximately 10%.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
