Technique, Inc. is currently looking for a robotic welding technician who will use MIG / TIG welding equipment in accordance with job and customer demand, welding both stainless and carbon steel. The welder will support the quality assurance team with part layouts and inspections, requiring a basic knowledge of GD&T and print reading.  They will also assist in the design, development and implementation of production fixturing, and operate and recover welding robots for all phases of production.

Job Responsibilities :

• Ability to set up the welder and weld basic GTAW and GMAW mild steel joints
• Ability to read and apply basic weld symbols
• Ability to distinguish different material types
• Understanding of weld fixture locations and return process
• Ability to change over wire and gas for regular operations
• Demonstrate ability to set up and troubleshoot projection welder and change settings accordingly
• Basic blueprint reading test
