The Role

We’re searching for a Social Media Producer who is a high quality content machine — a self-starter who can ideate, write, shoot, and edit their way through a fast-paced, high-output production schedule.

You’ll own the creative process from concept to final cut, crafting bold campaigns and content that grow our community across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This is a hands-on, high-intensity role for someone who thrives under pressure, works the job (not the clock), and lives for the next great story.

You’ll join a small tight-knit team of creatives who live and breathe storytelling and work directly with Howdy’s leadership to develop both company and leadership brands.

You’ll also be reporting to an Emmy Award–winning former CNN political producer and editor (from back when television news still mattered). He may be old and terrible at TikTok, but his decades of live-production experience means he knows what is possible, and how to scale it. The deadlines will be real, the hours will be long, but they will be realistic and rewarding.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Execution

• Produce a steady stream of social video, live-video, and other content that feels authentic, dynamic, and impossible to scroll past.
• Ideate, plan, shoot, and edit content daily — from behind-the-scenes clips to high-production brand stories.
• Capture Howdy’s community experiences both in Austin and on the road — from international events to Austin’s top concerts and gatherings. Initial focus will be on the Austin and SF markets, but international travel also possible.
