Virtual Member Relations Specialist
The Virtual Member Relations Specialist (VMRS) is primarily responsible for assisting members with new account applications, account transaction and maintenance requests, product and service inquiries, and loan applications received through in person, online, chat, and video conference channels. The VMRS is expected to conduct outbound calls to cross-sell products and services and to serve members in branch as needed.
This position is on-site at the Monument Circle branch / Fishers headquarters and is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities consist of :
- Serve as a sales and service expert and be knowledgeable of all credit union products, services, and software systems.
- Be aware of service requests and issues, and take immediate action to serve and resolve when needed. Handle member requests including escalated member situations competently and professionally.
- Serve as an expert in regards to working new account applications, onboarding new accounts, and servicing member requests in person as well as our online and remote channels.
- Proactively identify and respond to red flags and other signals of potential fraud associated with new account, loan, and service member requests via online and in-person channels.
- Conduct daily outbound sales and service calls utilizing assigned reports. Provide feedback on value of existing call lists and recommend alternatives to explore.
- Act as an information source for branch employees providing approvals, authorizations, and answering questions as needed. Assist with cross-training other employees when requested.
