Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fresno, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized records. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong accounting skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Manage accounts receivable activities such as recording payments and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and perform routine entries.
• Input and validate financial data to ensure precision in reports and documentation.
• Handle invoice processing tasks, including reviewing and ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Assist in preparing financial documents and reports for internal and external use.
• Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for accounting records.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Support the team in month-end closing procedures and reconciliation tasks. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in handling invoice processing and reconciliation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with standard accounting practices and procedures.
