An opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician specializing in both cardiac and vascular procedures. This contract position is based in Concord, North Carolina, offering a dynamic clinical environment with a teaching hospital renowned for cardiovascular care, including certifications like Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitral Clip cases
- Conduct vascular procedures with emphasis on lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, and TEVAR cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as charge nurses, VAD, ECMO, and code teams to ensure patient safety and effective workflows
- Use advanced equipment and technologies including EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo for hemodynamics, Alaris IV pumps, Philips and GE imaging systems, and Omnicell medication dispensing
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in departmental orientation and ongoing education
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience, with vascular and endograft exposure requiredCertifications : BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R or RCIS mandatoryPrior experience in interventional radiology or working alongside vascular surgeons is highly preferredComfortable with EPIC charting and managing pressors within catheterization labsAbility to participate in on-call rotation, including two weekends and two weekdays monthly, plus at least one holiday shift during the contractSchedule & Location :
