• Senior Technical Writer
• providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC / HBD), Theater Battle Control Division at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Theater Battle Control Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Tactical Air Control, Air / Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air / Missile Defense, and Mobile / Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.
• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.
• Technical writing experience within the DoD relative to information and / or business systems environment
• Ability to work on technical content for learning about, getting started, using, configuring, deploying, integrating, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting software systems, products, tools, and services.
• Ability to use and learn to use different authoring, development, and design tools such as GitLab, Website maintenance, Markdown, Javascript, Figma, and Lucid.
• Ability to work on and use documentation templates, team wikis, SOPs, content for customer support, and various documents requested by multiple mission focus areas in ADCP.
• Additionally, knowledge management, information architecture, and content design and content strategy skills are all relevant and applicable to contributing to the mission.
• Excellent writing skills and strong command of the English language, including grammar
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well with other organizations and personnel with disparate backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• Must maintain clearance at required level.The salary range information is a general guideline only.
