Orthodontic Assistant

We are looking for a positive, respectful and responsible clinical assistant who should be familiar or has working experience in an orthodontic practice or environment.  This is a part time position.  2-3 days / week.

Job duties :

• Assist Orthodontist in clinical care of patients - Take diagnostic records including ceph / pano / photos / digital scans / CBCT - Perform proper infection control techniques in keeping clinical area safe for patients and staff members - Sterilize instruments - Responsible with laboratory duties such as sending out digital lab orders or 3D printing of clear retainers - Keeping practice clean and organized - Scheduling patients  - Assist in community outreach / marketing events - Assist in front office duties A successful candidate should have current CA Dental board-approved 8-hour Infection Control certificate, BLS certificate, Dental Practice Act, Radiation Safety certificates.  DA is welcome.   RDA or OAP certificates would be desirable.  Please send resume and a cover letter to info@goldriverortho.com Pay rate :  $20- $30 based on work experience Benefits :  Pay sick leave; retirement plan Powered by JazzHR
