Pay Rate : $40 - $50 per hour

Job Title - Jr. Staff Auditor

General Experience and Functional Responsibility :

• Analysis and defining business needs.
• Applying methodologies
• Supporting program management
• Developing project deliverables
• Assisting with activities in project areas
• Completing work plan activities
• Analyzing relevant data and information
• Instituting and supporting business solutions.
• Providing analytical and program support
• Completing assigned engagement tasks within project scope and budget
• Meeting deliverable requirements
• Serving as an analytical resource on the engagement team
• Conducting relevant research
• Distilling data and creating reports
• Actively engaging consulting tools and methodologies to meet project objectives.
• Completing program management activities
• Supporting quality assurance practices
• Ensuring completion and accuracy of system documentation

Specialized Experience :

Audits : Financial, performance, recovery, transportation, and contract audits

Standards : Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and non-GAGAS

Compliance assessments : Financial statements, financial information, and internal controls

Organizational performance improvement : Accounting system design, financial statement preparation, budget development, and accounting advisory services

Basic Qualifications :

As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Possession of an industry certification

Experience :

Secret

Travel Requirements :

Travel may be required within and / or beyond your geographic region based on client and project needs.

For roles within the federal practice, flexibility to travel up to approximately 30% is preferred.
