Mane Street Cigars & Lounge is an established premium cigar retailer and lounge offering a relaxed, upscale atmosphere for cigar enthusiasts. We're seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and personable Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate s passionate about cigars, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
You'll be the face of the lounge, welcoming guests, providing product recommendations, handling retail transactions, and ensuring the space remains clean, inviting and fully stocked.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide personalized recommendations based on taste and experience level.
- Maintain product knowledge on brands, blends, and cigar accessories (cutter, lighters, humidors, etc.).
- Operate POS system for sales transactions, purchase order creation and receiving, inventory control, etc.
- Restock and organize the humidor; monitor humidity levels and inventory rotation.
- Assist with daily lounge upkeep, including cleaning glassware and ashtrays, and resetting seating areas.
- Support events, tastings, and promotions by preparing displays and engaging guests.
- Enforce lounge policies regarding smoking areas, outside products, and member privileges.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment and uphold the brand image of Mane Street Cigars & Lounge.
