Senior Associate, Process Welding Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a  Senior Associate Process Engineer (2nd Shift)  with a focus in Welding to join our Manufacturing team in  Canoga Park, CA .

At our  Canoga Park, CA  (Los Angeles area) facility, we design & manufacture rocket engines and unique power systems that support space exploration & the defense of our nation such as NASA’s SLS, Lockheed Martin’s THAAD, Sierra Nevada’s Dream Chaser, and the Mars Perseverance Rover. This site is our center of excellence for liquid in-space propulsion, responsible for engine design, fabrication, assembly, and test.

Essential Functions :

• Troubleshoot critical weldments ensuring best practices for weld fit-up, cleanliness requirements and weld parameters are followed
• Document best practices to support production
• Assist with root cause analysis and disposition discrepant hardware
• Accurately report problems, solutions, and results
• Communicate effectively between team members and customer counterparts

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $72,000 - $133,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $62,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
