Nurse Assistant Extended Care Contingent

Private duty services may be arranged for patients who need extended care, from a few hours a week to round-the-clock-care. Typically, this is paid for privately, or through specialized, long-term care policies.

We tailor our services to fit the specific needs of our clients in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Jackson counties. Flexible scheduling allows us to provide short-term or long-term care to clients in the home or facility setting, as well as specialized care for students in their schools.

General Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the responsible Registered Nurse or designee, performs specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs of the patient.

• Provides input to assist in planning and implementing patient care.
• Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Recognizes and participates in own continuing education.
• The Home Health Aide follows the Henry Ford Health Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.
