We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chief Financial Officer for our team. The ideal candidate will have the following :

Essential Functions

Manage finance department and its team members.

Managing budgets, monthly, quarterly and year‑end budgeting.

Choosing and implementing accounting systems, policies, and procedures to improve the overall operation and financial health of the organization with the aim of creating efficiencies and streamlining processes.

Hands‑on complex billing in the US and other countries and jurisdictions with which we do business.

Tailor financial processes to needs of growing small to midsize business.

Work closely with the customer success team regarding billing.

Month‑end accounting with bill payment and payroll assistance when needed.

Work regularly with attorneys supplying data for tax filings in the US and other countries.

Minimum Qualifications

6+ years of progressive experience working in financial positions, including acting as CFO or controller or assistant to CFO or controller.

Experience managing direct reports.

Audit and compliance experience.

Familiarity with US Government contracting.

Experience coordinating business and accounting registrations in various countries and states and insurance.

Knowledge and extensive experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Experience authoring best practices, procedures, and policies and comfortable delivering messages to a broad audience.

Experience working with attorneys who handle annual filings and multiple country filings and gathering paperwork for audits and supplying data to attorneys handling filings in a timely manner.

Passionate about process improvement and continuous learning.

Empathetic and compassionate approach to leadership, excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with a growing small to mid‑sized company.

Experience working internationally, especially with global health or international development (especially in European and African nations).

CPA or MBA.

OFCCP compliance knowledge and / or federal regulatory experience.

Experienced with growing pains and knowledge of how to address them.
