Unit Summary :

This is a fast-paced unit with 24 beds and a strong team that supports each other. This unit provides intermediate level of care in an all private room model. The patient population covers a wide range of conditions including chest pain, new onset A-fib, congestive heart failure, post cardiac catheterization patients without intervention, COPD , patients requiring high flow oxygen therapy or bipap , GI bleed patients not requiring immediate intervention and substance abuse patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Hours : 36 hours / week, Evening / Nights

Every third weekend

Qualifications :

Strong Medical Surgical experience required, step down experience a plus

Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing

BSN is strongly preferred

ASN required

BLS required
