Mid-Level Corporate Finance Associate

Location : Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)

Time Type : Full-Time

Compensation : $235,000 - $365,000 per year

Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm in the search for a mid-level Corporate Finance Associate to join its Corporate Practice in Washington, D.C. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on complex finance transactions for clients across industries in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle lender and borrower-side financings , including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending.
• Draft, review, and revise credit agreements, debt commitment letters, security agreements, and closing deliverables , including secretary's certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, schedules, and exhibits.
• Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in financing transactions (experience preferred).
• Manage deal execution, client interaction, and ensure high-quality legal work throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented and proactive environment .
