What you will do :

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Travel Buyer to directly support the Global Travel Category Manager in driving operational excellence and data-led decision-making across our corporate travel program. This role blends travel program operations with analytics, helping drive smarter decision-making through data and managing internal and external relationships. Work closely with the Category Managers and key stakeholders to understand spend requirements, negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers. You will need to closely manage commercial and contractual interactions with external companies. You'll work closely with our Travel Management Company (TMC) with a strong focus on performance insights, compliance, travel analytics and program reporting. The ideal candidate brings a balance of business intelligence skills, stakeholder fluency, procurement & operational rigor serving as a key partner to our preferred travel suppliers, and internal stakeholders across procurement, finance, and compliance.

What we look for :

Hiring salary range : $73,000-91,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
