Our Supply Chain Services department manages various medical supplies, fills customers supply phone requests, code cart replenishments, incoming deliveries, tanks, and supports other Supply Chain functions. This position supervises all operational, technical, and personnel activities associated with inventory, supply procurement, shipping, and receiving. Manages the timely and accurate distribution of shipments throughout the facility / campus, and to outside entities. Ensures that procurement and materials handling processes are conducted in accordance with company policies. Supervises the procurement of special orders for other departments, maintains inventory and inputs information into the MMIS System.
Core functions include managing operations of ordering, shipping, and receiving functions, achieving departmental goals through staff management, managing resource and expense use within budgetary guidelines, responding to requests and needs for materials and supply services, developing and updating work processes, maintaining and tracking shipping / receiving records, and assisting all departments with ordering, shipping and receiving functions.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma / GED or equivalent working knowledge, a valid driver's license, and experience in computerized inventory management and shipping and receiving functions. Preferred qualifications include one year experience in a lead receiver level position. Additional related education and / or experience is also preferred.
