Construction Inspector

WEBB is currently seeking Public Works Construction Inspectors for part-time and / or full-time on-call project-based positions. Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of experience inspecting the construction of roads, traffic signals, water, sewer, and storm drain facilities. The position requires familiarity with a broad spectrum of general civil construction activities, materials, methods, and processes. Salary range : $67,080 - $153,296

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document construction processes; prepare daily inspection reports with the use of an iPad
• Read, interpret, and enforce construction drawings and specifications
• Worksites in the Inland Southern California and Coachella Valley areas
• Identify construction issues, communicate clearly (written and verbal) with the project team, and prepare accurate as-built drawings
