Salary : $20.00 - $24.50 / hr DOE

Position Description :

The Essential Piece Enterprises (EPE) Client Vocational Coach will provide one-on-one to 3 : 1, individualized support to EPE clients participating in the Workforce Development Programs on-site and at off-site workplace experiences. The Job Coach must be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills who is comfortable working directly with adult clients, Essential Piece staff, and leaders to integrate client experiences and support within the Essential Piece community and external community partnerships.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Task : Analyze clients' vocational duties within the job sites to support
• Engage in one-on-one coaching with clients to support daily and weekly vocational duties
• Provide individualized support to the clients to assist them in the development of vocational / employment skills (resume writing, job interviews, application completion, etc.).
• Work closely with Program Directors, Program Staff, and External Worksite Staff to help them understand the value of the support our Workforce Development program provides
• Collect data regarding student performance
• Assist clients in discovering and overcoming their barriers and setting goals
• Develop effective job coaching and employment plans
• Communicate with clients to understand their goals and ambitions
• Train clients on interpersonal skills
• Serve to support behaviors on a day-to-day basis in the community, as well as on-site

Positions in this class require : stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.

Light Work :

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Working Conditions :

Work is routinely performed in an indoor and outdoor classroom setting.
