ADMINISTRATIVE / TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Financial Management Branch Team Lead

You will serve as a Financial Team Lead in the Financial Management Branch. Your responsibilities include :

Financial Reporting : Provide financial reporting and translate actions into meaningful information for management and financial execution.

Workload Management : Organize, plan, schedule, and prioritize team workloads, and oversee work accomplishments.

Conflict Resolution : Resolve complaints and team conflicts, train and assist personnel, and provide guidance on Funds Administration.

Reporting : Develop internal and external reports, perform monthly analysis of financial operations, and provide briefings to department managers.

Requirements include :

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• New employees to the Department of the Navy must pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Within the Department of Defense, retired military members may be appointed to civilian positions within 180 days of retirement.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• Required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• May require travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.

Qualifications require at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11 / 12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, including :
