What You’ll Be Doing

As the Video Service Manager , you’ll oversee the technical planning, staff coordination, and execution of video services across our event portfolio. You’ll ensure quality, efficiency, and innovation from concept to show close.

🗂 Administrative Leadership

✅ Collaborate with internal teams to maintain technical excellence across video services

✅ Review show quotes to confirm proper equipment usage and technician assignments

✅ Recruit, recommend, and retain qualified full-time and freelance video technicians

✅ Monitor technician scheduling and manage quality control workflows

✅ Participate in venue walk-throughs to identify technical requirements and constraints

✅ Build collaborative relationships with video leads across other ETP brands

🎨 Design & Planning

✅ Evaluate client needs, assess feasibility, and recommend design solutions within venue limitations

✅ Plan equipment use and placement to achieve creative and technical goals

✅ Manage the Technical Design Services process with cross-departmental coordination

🔧 Technical Oversight & Staff Development

✅ Provide hands-on technical guidance to ensure consistent show quality

✅ Ensure proper technical documentation is prepared for show prep and site execution

✅ Assess and recommend training opportunities for technicians and QC staff

✅ Contribute to the development and delivery of ongoing training programs

✅ Support technicians with advanced troubleshooting and escalation needs

✅ Review post-show reports to resolve technical, customer, or logistical issues

Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet evolving business needs.

What We’re Looking For

🔹 Proven experience in event video services and / or AV production management

🔹 Strong understanding of technical video design, equipment, and troubleshooting

🔹 Effective communicator with a leadership mindset and cross-functional coordination skills

🔹 Comfortable navigating both the strategic and hands-on aspects of production

🔹 Experience managing crews, workflows, and quality assurance in a fast-paced environment
