Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Gas Fitters with natural gas experience for our Natural Gas operations in Henderson, Nevada.

Our Natural Gas Utility Construction Team is managing strong growth, and we're looking for Gas Fitters to be part of the safest utility construction Team in the U.S.

The purpose of a Gas Fitter at Team Fishel is to install steel gas pipe or PVC piping of all sizes by welding and / or fusing.

Team Fishel is a leader in the gas utility construction industry in Nevada. A Class-A CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

Installation of new steel gas mains & services using tools such as a welding machine, cutting torches

Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, soldering

Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods

Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading

Layout of pipe, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints

Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications

Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools

Requirements & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

One to three years related work experience.

Valid Class A CDL Drivers license preferred

Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)

Bilingual and prior construction experience is a plus

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
