Position Title : Procurement Manager

Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead sourcing supplier negotiations and category strategy for our clients growth this role you will drive cost savings mitigate risk and build a robust supplier framework aligned to business needs. You will work cross-functionally with Sales Marketing Supply Management Legal and other stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose sourcing solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Enable client growth by supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives via fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies in each category.
- Assist in the design of a fit-for-purpose organization to ensure results delivery with appropriate overhead for high ROI.
- Within the Supply Management programme champion the sourcing process; develop strategies with defined plans for cost savings risk assessment & mitigation and build supplier strategies that communicate both short- and long-term tactics.
- Lead development and execution of negotiation strategies with suppliers including specific targets for pricing service and quality.
- Manage supplier selection process ensuring selections are based on sound criteria (cost quality risk service capacity).
- Continuously identify and implement new opportunities for value capture (e.g. cost reduction process improvement supplier innovation).
- Work with Legal to establish and execute optimal contract terms and conditions with suppliers including tooling / capital equipment purchases as necessary.
- Provide rigorous analysis of spend data market trends and dynamics to prioritise and launch sourcing initiatives within designated spend categories.
- Drive change by proactively engaging stakeholders across the enterprise; gain deep understanding of their functional strategies and ensure sourcing supports those strategies.
- Track and report progress on savings supplier performance risk management and other key sourcing metrics.
Qualifications / Skills :
Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or related field (Masters desirable).Strong procurement / sourcing experience (typically 5 years) in a complex organisation ideally with capital equipment and indirect / purchase categories.Experience leading sourcing strategies supplier negotiations category strategy development and organisational design.Excellent analytical skills (spend analysis market research cost modelling).Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills.Proven negotiation capability with measurable outcomes (cost savings improved service / quality).Familiarity with contract law / principles and working with legal teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced results-driven environment; able to deliver in a short-term contract window.Key Skills
