Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications

Active Texas Physician license (MD or DO) required

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine

Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred; Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with emergency care experience are encouraged to apply

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care in a newly established freestanding Emergency Department

Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of acute medical conditions and injuries

Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient encounters and maintain clinical records

Contribute to the development of protocols and workflows for the new ED
