Position Description

We are hiring a Equipment Maintenance Technician . The Equipment Maintenance Technician will perform general production packaging quality and research and development (R&D) equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure the site meets cGMP and OSHA compliance. This employee is the on-site contact person for contractors and provides works including but not limited to second shift third shift on weekdays weekends and holidays as assigned. They also respond to emergency production and packaging equipment troubleshooting needs.

Responsibilities :

• Documenting production equipment maintenance and repairs records in Computerized Maintenance System (CMS).
• Installing / maintaining / repairing / tuning / troubleshooting production and packaging equipment per planned schedule and work request.
• Evaluating equipment to identify and correct reasons for malfunctions.
• Repair production and packaging equipment. Technician with equipment PLC experiences is a plus.
• Requisitioning new supplies and equipment as needed.
• May construct or fabricate parts from drawings or written instructions.
• Coordinating vendors and contractors as required.
• Moving equipment to meet operational needs.
• Responding to production packaging quality and research & development (R&D) equipment emergency needs.
• Must be willing to work in Second and Third shifts per assignment.
• May need to drive company vehicle if necessary.
• Manage Spare Parts.
