Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.

The Clay Studio Internship at Daimler Trucks North America offers students in Automotive or Industrial Design a hands-on opportunity to contribute to real-world vehicle design projects. Interns support both digital and physical surface development, utilizing tools like Alias or Siemens NX and participating in clay modeling processes. With a strong emphasis on shape, proportion, and surface quality, the role fosters collaboration across design and engineering teams. Interns are expected to demonstrate creativity, technical skill, and a commitment to DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity, and discipline.

Overview :

As a Clay Studio Intern at Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and creative design environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced modelers and designers, contributing to real-world projects that shape the future of commercial vehicle design. Interns are expected to embody DTNA's core values of Passion, Respect, Integrity, and Discipline throughout their tenure.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour.
