As an Environmental Services Lead youll collaborate with housekeepers managers and supervisors to ensure every space meets the highest standards of cleanliness and care. Your role is critical in creating a safe sanitary and welcoming environment for all.

    Responsibilities

  • Applies all legal ethical and compliance related regulations to each situation ensuring UnityPoint Trinity policy and procedures are carried out in accordance with above standards.
  • Manages time and prioritizes workload to meet the needs of the organization ensuring patient team members and visitors safety is a top priority.
  • Oversees and manages daily operations of all Environmental Services matters.
  • Assists in evaluating monitoring and action planning to ensure departmental budget compliance
  • Manages and monitors the Environmental Services Department payroll / timekeeper program
  • Assists in the management and operation of the linen structured training in-service classes coaching and mentoring support system to EVS Technicians by communicating performance expectations.
  • Maintains required documentation of all training education and certifications.
  • Coordinates with all levels of leadership to assist respond to and support all service lines with items or issues relating to Environmental Services.
  • Oversee internal investigations operations and assist with high level incidents as deemed appropriate by Department Manager.
  • Assists the Environmental Services Manager with Infection Control and Safety monitoring activities.
  • Assists in Infection Control and Safety audits and produce audit reports and follow up any actions.

    • Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisor experience required. Experience in professional cleaning is preferred.
