job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide comprehensive care to laboring, antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum patients. Perform and interpret fetal monitoring, including advanced fetal surveillance, and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status. Triage obstetric patients, perform focused assessments, and prioritize care based on acuity. Assist with vaginal deliveries and support cesarean delivery care as needed. Float to Mother / Baby or Nursery to support staffing and continuity of care. Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence based practice. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR. Active RN license (state specific or compact). Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required. Completion of an advanced fetal monitoring course required. STABLE certification preferred. Triage experience in Labor & Delivery required. Comfortable working in a high volume L&D setting with variable nurse to patient ratios depending on assignment. Department will conduct interviews via Microsoft Teams.

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high volume obstetric unit averaging approximately 200 births per month. This nurse will work as part of a team of 9 RNs staffed around the clock, providing safe, family centered care and floating to Mother / Baby or Nursery as needed.
