job_description.job_card.job_descriptionGreet visitors, clients, and / or employees in a professional manner at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service while following all security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry. Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills and following established emergency response protocols. Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter inappropriate activity and provide assistance as needed. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and / or emergency responders as required. Document and report any security-related incidents, concerns, or unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
