Fabrication Welder

Position Qualifications and Physical Requirements :

Perform consistent quality MIG, TIG and Arc welds.

Fit and weld sub-assemblies with tack or spot weld.

Perform measurements within specified tolerances.

Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.

General knowledge of equipment and operations.

Basic understanding of Weld symbols.

Understand and follow oral and written directions.

Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).

Accept responsibility and account for his / her actions.

Perform work accurately and thoroughly.

Be dependable and trustworthy.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :

High School diploma or GED required.

2+ years of welding experience preferred.
