Community Relations Manager

Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the communities that Travis Credit Union serves : Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus and Yolo counties. This position is considered hybrid so you must be within a commutable distance to our corporate headquarters in Vacaville, CA.

The Community Relations Management team plays a vital role in strengthening Travis Credit Union's (TCU) connection with its members and the broader community. The focus is on building trust, enhancing the credit union's reputation and supporting its mission of people helping people through financial wellness programs, products and services. This role leads outreach initiatives, builds partnerships, represents the brand at events, advocates for members, and coordinates employee volunteerism to strengthen community ties and promotes financial wellness.

Responsibilities include :

• Driving the success of the Community Relations programs through ownership of marketing event management.
• Leading, training, evaluating, coaching, professionally developing, and motivating staff to attain department goals.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining the credit union's community relationship programs to support membership growth and align with the organizational goals.
• Being a key partner in developing a growth focused business plan to support the credit union's long-term strategy.
• Modeling program success and leadership education through grass root data and trend analyses.
• Accountable for ensuring process development and documentation, including adoption of best practices.
• Managing and developing business relationships in the TCU service areas to promote community relationship programs and TCU's brand.

Working conditions :

Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available and usually sedentary in nature. May require attending meetings and events during evenings and / or weekends. Travel and overnight stays may be required.

Compensation :

Base salary starting range : $113,258.08 / annually - $139,900.80 / annually is commensurate with experience.
