Senior Windows Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

Job Description

An employer is looking for 2 Senior Windows Engineers to join their team in NYC. The engineer will design and implement infrastructure standards for Windows environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange. He / she will manage virtual server platforms to ensure high availability and security and automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Python to improve efficiency and reduce errors. This person will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying updates and patches proactively. This is a collaborative role, working with engineering teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and optimize system reliability as well as perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and support critical infrastructure in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement infrastructure standards and configuration baseline for Windows AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Windows Server OS
  • Manage Virtual Server Infrastructure platforms to ensure high availability, security and performance
  • Automate repetitive tasks to reduce configuration exceptions and optimize efficiency

    • Pay : $60-80 / hr
