Environmental Services Aide

Job Description

: This position is responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Hours : 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm

• Some holidays required

As an Environmental Services Aide / Housekeeper you need to know how to :

Clean and vacuum all floor surfaces- Dispose of all infectious and non-infectious waste- Clean patient rooms and common areas- Dust all areas both high and low- Stock supplies for cart and room as required- Demonstrate proficiency in the cleaning of beds and the Alaris IV Pumps- Demonstrate communication skills according to age of patient / visitor / customer- Give proper instructions to patients / visitor / customer relative to his / her age requirements
