Field Service Engineer

Our client, a leading global manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT support department, working closely with technical teams to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Field Service Engineer

Location : Richardson, TX

What's the Job?

Support daily IT operations and provide exceptional customer support onsite.

Install, configure, support, and maintain hardware and operating system solutions.

Manage hardware orders and oversee asset management processes.

Perform basic backup tape operations and system backups.

Create and maintain system documentation, conduct testing, and facilitate training sessions.

What's Needed?

Experience with supporting Windows PC operating systems and related software updates.

Strong understanding of hardware installation and configuration processes.

Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with IT teams and clients.

Ability to monitor systems for potential issues and implement timely resolutions.

Knowledge of security policies and adherence to change management procedures.
