Technology Integration Subject Matter Expert

ManTech seeks an experienced Technology Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support to integrating key emerging technologies for USSOCOM in Fayetteville, NC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Draw from a deep understanding of USSOCOM Tactical and Enterprise IT / Cyber networks and capabilities to communicate critical information to stakeholders

Identify emerging technologies capable of insertion into current Department of Defense (DoD) classified / unclassified technological enclaves

Establish and / or maintain key relationships with technology partners in Industry, Government, and Academia

Assist with generating and maintaining security documentation such as System Security Plans (SSP), Backup and Recovery Plans, Contingency Plans, and System Security Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to ensure compliance with government security policies and procedures.

Facilitate the proper maintenance of repositories for all system accreditation / authorization documentation.

Support vulnerability / risk analyses of assigned information systems during all phases of the System Development Life Cycle; analyze vulnerability scan results, DISA STIGs and generate and maintain system security POA&Ms.

Assess the performance of security controls within systems infrastructure; perform Annual Security Reviews and participate in the Continuous Monitoring process.

Interpret Cybersecurity requirements into technical solutions and analyze system configurations to determine, maintain and improve security posture.

Recommend proper system configuration and administration control procedures to enhance system security, performance, and to ensure assigned information systems are compliant with applicable laws and policies and meet Cybersecurity requirements outlined in the Defense Acquisition System guidance as well as all applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and USSOCOM Cybersecurity directives and instructions.

Basic Qualifications :

Masters Degree

20 or more years of experience in Special Operations, with experience at the JSOC Communications Unit (JCU) and JSOC J6 desired.

10 or more years of relevant experience as a technology integrator.

10 or more years in the Department of Defense supporting SOF communications or related duties.

Familiarity with network hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

Knowledge of SOF-peculiar networks, equipment, infrastructure, and architecture and how the SOF Enterprise employs communications capabilities to support operations.

Experience monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving issues, performing routine maintenance tasks on network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.

Experience diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and hardware failures.

Preferred Qualifications :

CompTIA Security+ and / or Network+

Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt

Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications

Security Clearance Requirements :

Must possess active Top Secret / SCI clearance, with eligibility for ACCM read-on.
