Job Title : Wi-Fi QA Engineer (Telecom Domain Experience Required)

Location : Philadelphia, PA (Onsite / Hybrid)

Key Qualifications :

5+ years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi QA testing, specifically within the Telecom domain.

In-depth knowledge of  WLAN protocols (802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax / be)  and  security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X).

Strong understanding of  Wi-Fi extenders, mesh networks, and steering protocols (802.11k, 802.11v, 802.11r).

Experience collaborating with  Product and Development teams  to define technical requirements and test strategies.

Ability to  characterize Wi-Fi performance  in new products and troubleshoot complex engineering challenges.

Proficiency in reviewing  design specifications  with a focus on product architecture, testability, and verification.

Familiarity with  Wi-Fi test automation frameworks  and industry standards (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF).

Strong problem-solving skills to  identify, debug, and drive resolution of product defects.

Experience working with  tool development teams  to enhance automation for new test features.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute  test plans  to validate Wi-Fi performance, reliability, and interoperability.

Work closely with engineering teams to  define QA strategies  and ensure product quality.

Analyze test results, log defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

Contribute to the  improvement of QA methodologies  and best practices.

Stay updated with  emerging Wi-Fi technologies and telecom industry trends.

Must-Have :

Prior telecom industry experience  (service providers, networking equipment vendors, or related fields).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in  real-world Wi-Fi environments.
