Internal Medicine Credentialed Veterinary Technician

VCA Animal Specialty Group is a 24-hour Specialty and Emergency hospital located in the heart of San Diego. Recently remodeled and upgraded to include top-of-the-line equipment such as MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Digital Radiography.

ASG is looking for experienced assistants and RVTs to join our Internal Medicine service.

What you'll be responsible for :

Assisting doctors in exam rooms

Prepping patients for procedures

Assisting with scopes and other diagnostics such as glucose curves, CT scans, ultrasounds, and radiographs

Providing outstanding patient care

Qualifications :

Previous veterinary experience required, specialty / emergency experience a plus

Outstanding client service skills

Medical terminology

Attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Schedule : This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, working 4 - 10-hour shifts.

Compensation : The pay range for this position is $23.00-$30.00 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
