POSITION OVERVIEW Harbor Health is scaling fast as we expand access to member-centered, tech-enabled healthcare.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments — someone who can balance shipping quickly with building the right long-term foundations.

You’ll design and own critical systems, mentor teammates, and have a seat at the table as we grow from a startup to a category-defining healthcare company.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design and evolve scalable, maintainable software architectures using system thinking principles.   Understand  business needs into technical solutions emphasizing speed and simplicity   Own features end-to-end — from ideation and design to deployment, ongoing maintenance, documentation and sharing   Build clean, efficient, high-quality solutions and set the bar for engineering best practices.   Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring systems.   Debug complex issues across the stack and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.   Integrate and leverage AI frameworks to accelerate development and enhance product functionality.   Implement monitoring, alerting, and reliability strategies for mission-critical systems.   Collaborate with product, design, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions.   Excellence in Engineering beyond writing code, code reviews, mentor teammates, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.   Create clear technical documentation for systems, APIs, and operational processes.   DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering.

At least 2 years of experience within the healthcare technology domain.

Proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, or Typescript / Node.js Strong expertise in engineering practices, including CI / CD, observability, and cloud platforms.

Design and evolve data systems that enable insight, scalability, and reliable data flows.

Proficient in SQL, data warehouse technologies (Snowflake or simlar), and data pipeline tech (DBT etc). 3+ years of experience with AWS, or comparable cloud platforms.

Proven track record of rapidly delivering greenfield projects from concept to deployment.

Team-oriented with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
