Senior Supervisor of Plumbing and Gas Fitting – Sprinklers

REPORTS TO : Chief Supervisor of Plumbing and Gas Fitting

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Sprinkler Fitter Supervisor will work with and within the Plumbing Division with specific responsibility to ensure all BPS sprinkler systems, fire pumps, valves, actuators and notification devices are maintained, tested and repaired as required by the NFPA, BFD and all applicable compliance entities. Work with P&E Fire Alarm Division and personally ensure proper and regular maintenance is conducted on all valves and devices as outlined with the NFPA guidance. Work with designers on development of capital upgrades and improvements to Fire Protection systems. Assist P&E Plumbing Division on Daily plumbing maintenance and repairs as allowable. Work with PFD on similar project scopes as BPS Facilities liaison.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Sprinkler Fitter Supervisor will work with and within the Plumbing Division with specific responsibility to ensure all BPS sprinkler systems, fire pumps, valves, actuators and notification devices are maintained, tested and repaired as required by the NFPA, BFD and all applicable compliance entities. Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing of security, card access and camera systems.
• Work with P&E Fire Alarm Division and personally ensure proper and regular maintenance is conducted on all valves and devices as outlined with the NFPA guidance.
• Work with designers on development of capital upgrades and improvements to Fire Protection systems.

COMPENSATION RANGE :  GRADE G
