About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Enterprise Risk Management. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the identification and awareness of risk, as well as enhancing the overall risk culture within the organization. This role involves managing the ERM program, ensuring its effectiveness in line with the company's strategic plan, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The Vice President will also be responsible for establishing and implementing risk-related policies, procedures, and metrics, and for facilitating ERM committees at all levels to ensure proper risk management.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' banking experience, with at least 10 years in risk-related roles, and a preference for those with a background in assessing and monitoring interest rate and credit risk. The role requires a candidate with a demonstrated career progression, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. The Vice President will be expected to be a relationship builder at all levels, capable of influencing and promoting risk management practices. Additionally, the role involves partnering with internal audit and compliance departments, participating in various bank committees, and actively contributing to the improvement of the company's reliability and process through the promotion of HRO and DIRFT principles.
