What You'll Do

• Handle full-cycle accounting for a principal within the firm, including AP / AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Liaise with external accountants for tax preparation and audits
• Assist with financial planning and analysis for ongoing investments and operations
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate, investment, or private office settings
• Strong grasp of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Discretion, professionalism, and a proactive mindset
