Environmental Services Aide I
Position Summary : Provides a full range of environmental services which include, but are not limited to, the cleaning of patient care environments through routine cleaning, disinfecting, equipment cleaning, floor / wall cleaning, trash removal and biohazardous waste. Helps maintain a clean, comfortable and secure environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff. The ES Aide provides support and service to all staff and performs all duties in compliance with specific hospital / skilled nursing facility requirements. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values. Cleaning and disinfecting by Environmental Services is the main defense against serious infections that may linger on surfaces throughout a medical facility. Collaboration between Infection Prevention and Environmental Services staff limits the prospect of disease transmission within the healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications : None. Preferred Qualifications : Previous environmental services experience is preferred. Ability to prioritize and follow verbal and written instructions. Customer service driven.
Physical Requirements : M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
Pay Range : $16.75 - $17.55 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
