Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

SCORE, LLC is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our busy outpatient orthopaedic practice. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA will provide direct care to hand and upper extremity patients, such as participating in splinting and implementation of hand therapy programs. This is a part-time position in our Middlebury location.

Duties :

Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, COTA duties will include :

• Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop patient-centered plans of care.
• Help patients do therapeutic activities.
• Record the progress of the patient and report to the occupational therapist.
• Other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to Connecticut OTA's policies and procedures.
