Days / Hours - Monday-Friday, Flexible (7AM - 6PM)

Role Overview :

As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for following up on encounters with no payer response, analyzing patient accounts, and taking the necessary actions to resolve outstanding balances. You will also handle patient inquiries regarding their accounts and resubmit claims as needed to ensure accurate reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Follow up on unpaid or denied insurance claims with no payer response.
• Analyze patient accounts to determine appropriate steps for balance resolution.
• Handle patient inquiries related to their insurance and account status professionally.
• Resubmit claims as required to facilitate timely payment.

What We're Looking For :

Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.

Experience : Minimum two years in medical billing or hospital coding, as a claims processor, medical claims for an insurance carrier, or Clerical / Billing experience in a medical office, preferred.
