Restoration Technician Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to identify necessary repairs and restoration work
• Apply preservation methods and techniques to restore damaged materials, such as wood, stone, and plaster
• Perform carpentry, woodworking, and other trades to repair and replace damaged components
• Work with a variety of power tools and equipment, including power saws, sanders, and drills
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement restoration plans, including creating detailed project schedules and budgets
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring to ensure work is completed to high standards

Maintain accurate records and reports of work completed, including documentation of materials used and techniques employed
