HRIS Analyst

Class Summary

Job Description

This position is responsible for the support and maintenance of the HRIS in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This position works with sensitive and / or confidential information and requires knowledge of relational database concepts web-based document management applications and analysis techniques. The HRIS Analyst will utilize previously acquired skills in oral and written communication and skills related to the core functions involved with HR transaction processing records management employee onboarding government reporting and basic management of enterprise HR systems functionality.

Essential Duties

• Communicate with outside agencies and with personnel at all levels of the organization to exchange information related to personnel policies and procedures and provide technical assistance relative to the HRIS and other supported systems
• Audit and validate data within various systems to ensure data integrity
• Monitor system processes reports and user security profiles
• Create ad-hoc queries and reports in response to requests for information
• Serve as a technical point of contact for functional areas
• Test functional changes to the HRIS system and coordinate with all appropriate parties to include internal and external
• Analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities
• Coordinate personnel-related system activities with payroll and IT staff
• Support HRIS upgrades patches testing and other technical projects as assigned

Public Speaking Duties

Public speaking is required for this position to :

Conduct meetings with internal and external parties

Grade

The grade for this position is C42(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4 / 11 / 2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
